Re: Help in need of urgent prom transport

No school proms in my younger days, we had a Christmas dance and had to escort a young lady from our age group to the big hall, dinner in the school dining room afterwards. There was always cabbage and mince for the main meal and prunes to follow. The strongest drink we had would be if we didn't put much milk in the tea.

Only speculation regarding dress was "No clogs".

By the way, if you are still stuck for transport I could probably be able to take you in new John Deere tractor and your mates could sit in the bucket on the front, now that's different. I would power wash it first.

I just managed to snap this unusual prom truck with my phone in Southport a couple of years ago. It drove up and down Lord street a few times.

Anyway young lady, I hope you have a wonderful time, enjoy it, get lots of photos for your album and then get back to normal.
Best of luck for the future.
