I knew it had shut down, but didn't know why. I am curious though and I've just sent one of the 'current' dancers a text asking if she knows.

I suspect it fell on hard times, they weren't permitted to advertise and various customers of mine when I mentioned it, didn't know it was there even some who lived near it.

I loved working there, and I miss it, but even with my expertise it wasn't easy to make money, and generally if the dancers don't earn the club doesn't earn.

The manager who owned the business was lovely, I have a lot of admiration for her as a person, for personal reasons, we talked a lot.

She had suffered a lot for trying so hard to make it work and treated the staff and dancers with a lot of respect and care. I've emailed her asking if I can help with anything.

I'll update the thread if I find out anything further I could be completely wrong with my thoughts on why iCandy closed down.
