The problem with seals blowing is that frost gets in to them and they go hard and fracture, as soon as you put it under pressure at the first bit of Easter sunshine they pop. This what has happened with my mum's , as I found when I got soaked just the other week. Looks like it's an integral bit of the hose too so would need whole new hose. I ended up wrapping the leaking bit with a roll of insulating tape and dressing like a Fleetwood trawlerman to avoid the soaking. It worked to a degree
.
