On a day when we won the shooting stats but lost the game
, the pragmatists were out in force, with only 9 keeping the faith

selling us down the river and reaping their reward
. MikeA (by default) and NigeB were the big winners, moving from 15th to 4th and 21st to 9= respectively. Scoring 4 by taking a single bonus point from us firing blanks, JimsLad was up from 16th to 8th, Dav007 (also by default) from 38th to 36th, and Yerself from 43rd to 42nd. Yerself’s move was deeply significant
as this drags him above Shurm, highest placed of the irregulars, meaning a table showing all the regulars falls below the upload file size limit so can be shown in one piece
– isn’t it amazing what small things can make me happy
. The big loser from keeping the faith was Sparkie – down from 6th to 12th.
So a little unbeaten run comes to an end and we’re down in 8th. But up to 3 home games in hand on those above us mean we can catch everybody except the top two whatever they do – not a bad position to start a New Year
. So it’s roll on Mansfield on Saturday – back to winning away please boys.
