Just wanted to say hello. I grew up in Accy but left at 16 to join the Army. travelled the world and did loads of stuff. I now live in the North East. Finally got around to posting something. My names John Mercer by the way. I used to go to St Annes until 1970 and then to Saint Marys in Blackburn until 75. I lived just off Christchurch Square. I used to knock around with Duncun and Paul Crowsdale who lived in the fire station houses, Roy Cronshaw who lived on Christ Church St, Paul and Stephen Bailey and their sister Susan and her friends Christine and Janet Hindle who all lived in Nutall Street. If anyone knows what happened to them I would be interested to know. Or if anyone knows or remembers me then feel free to give me a shout. Great site.
