welcome, I have lived in Huncoat for sixty four years, you are partly right in saying that Huncoat is now part of Accrington but the village is mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1086; there is no mention of Accrington.

If you want to give me a name or two of your relatives I could well know them, unless they are what we villagers class as newcomer's, ie have lived here for less then fifty year's or so;(tongue in cheek comment).
