Hi, I am new to the forum and I am hoping that someone can help me with some research I am doing on this couple, George Slack (a Boxer) & Marjorie Currie, who were married in Accrington in August 1937.

Eventually they moved to Bromley, Kent, where George became a Butcher and their daughter, Mahala Sandra Slack, was born in 1940.

After the birth of Mahala the family seem to disappear and I have wondered if they returned to Lancashire.

Incidentally, Marjorie Currie is a distant cousin of mine, her family originated from the Borders of Scotland, and Lasswade in Midlothian, before moving south to Kent then moving back up the way to Cheshire then Lancashire.
