Just been listening to talkSPORT on the way home and they were discussing a proposal for lower leagues - everybody apart from Premier £eague - to move kick off times from 15:00, to 13:00 to save money on gas and electric!!

Floodlights and heating are the two main savings for Clubs - it was mentioned.

I suppose early season does not matter - but once the clocks change - winter/mid. season is a different matter.

They mentioned the affect it could have on supporters who travel to games and that it could stop some people going to games.

Living in Accrington and getting to the games is not an issue, but for supporters who get on a train at 10:30, or jump in the car at 12:00, it will make a difference...

They did also talk about P.L. distributing more money down the pyramid...........
