  Hi, Im new to this site, short history. I was born in Clayton, Atlas st. went to Holy Family, remember vividly, Arcs ballroom, Accy con, Cavern club off Whalley rd,Blackburn and Burnley Meccas, Beachcomber Preston. Had all my suits made at McNoes in Blackburn rd, Bought my fist mod shirt at Lionol Mortons boutiqe, the blue Dahlia coffee  lounge. I think the top mod and trendseter at the time was a guy by the name of Jimmy Lightbown, he had some great suits, is he still around, he had style. I moved away as the 60s came to a close. I still listen to Motown, stax, Hi records, Atlantic, chess. My memories are very clear very fond ones and all the friends I had that I never kept im touch with, lets not forget Accrington Jazz club, Wednesday nights Folk. Sunday night Jazz all this makes me
