I was a postman in Accy for a good few years and worked for Royal Mail for in total for 20 years. In 1995 there wer 15 post offices in the Accrington delivery area.
West End Ossy Stanhill Moor End Ossy Union Rd Church Dill Hall CLM (Barnes St) Whalley Rd Ave Pde Baxenden R/ Bridge Nuttall St Scaitcliffe B/Burn Rd Branch Office Abbey St

How many are still open? Some of these were really busy branches but many have gone already.
