Did you ever find a photo?
I've come across one recently that was amongst some old family photo's, I'm 99% certain that my great grandfather is one of the players on this photo
What do you think? same person?
I originally thought this was a photo of Accrington Stanley, I think this has been ruled out now, so it could possibly be Accrington White Star or another team that Robert played for that I don't know about.
1 thing that seemed strange at 1st was its a postcard, then looking through a lot more of the old photo's we found quite a few were post cards, a lot were personal photo's, was this a technique they used "in thowd days"
Heres the photo, in a bit of a bad way, seems to have got wet/damp at some stage, I'm going to see how much I can restore when I get time, not an hour of a job this one
