Rich and famous may deserve a place in posterity, I know a few modest folk that have equal rights for fame, because they are there when the rest of us need them and they often smile.

So come on, never mind arty farty, and others made their money and left, type people what about those such as lettie worked hard became qualified then worked even harder to gain extra qualifications,? do they not deserve recognition?



Sorry Lettie if this is an embarrassment but, without ordinary humans the others would be nowhere.
I know what you saying Less, and personally I'm more excited when discovering someone of humble origins who's made a mark on the world, such as Margret Mckay/McCarthy, but if I was to do an obituary thread for every hardworking person in the area, I'd soon be dead myself.



Nearly all the people I've listed are 'ordinary'. It's just that their skill/talents has extended past the area of their birth.
