Next game for Stanley and the prediction league is Easter Mondays fixture at home to the Mariners of Grimsby Town. We have only ever lost once to Grimsby since we were promoted to the football league but back in October of this season we only managed a 2-2 draw.
Grimsby have been battling with relegation now for the majority of the season, having a stretch of no wins from 20+ games earlier this season. They are currently 23rd, 7 points from safety on 31 points with games beginning to run out for them. After our last 4 results returning a total of a brilliant 0 points, its amazing we are still 14th. Stanley could really do with a win to get some good feeling back into things if nothing else so can Stanley beat the Mariners or will Grimsby come at us battling for their League 2 status and give us a wet fishy slap in the face?
