Well ladies and gents - its the last home fixture of this season but at least there is the world cup this year to fill the gap until we all start over again in the npower Football League 2 next season.
The last outing at the Crown sees the visit of the Spirerites of Chesterfield. Our opponents are currently 9th on 67 points and are only out of the playoff picture on goal difference so they will be deperate for 3 points on Saturday. I cant help thinking where
we could be now in the league if it wasnt for a huge run of bad results at the worst possible time in the season but then I think about the off the field antics earlier this season, our FA Cup run and the JPT this year and that cheers me up a lot. We won for the first time on Tuesday in what seemed like ages and we went up 4 places! Silly.
Previous history against the Spireites is a mixed bag. 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw. Back in October this season we lost 1-0.
