One more band wanted
I'm organising an event in Rhyddings Park on 15th June and I need one more band - but we're not looking for a 'pop' band - we're looking for something that's more classical or traditional.
So anyone know any local brass bands or jazz bands can you let me know. |

JAZZ BAND COVERING LANCASHIRE, BLACKBURN, PRESTON, BURNLEY AND BLACKPOOL FOR WEDDINGS AND CORPORATE EVENTS - The Gershwin Gang - jazz music from the 1920s/30s/40s. Covering Lancashire, Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Blackpool

Gayle, it might be worth asking Margaret Rothwell about her lad's band.
Rob Livesey Band They play blues, R&B and jazz. Not seen them myself, but I've heard some very good reports about them.

The Swing Commanders may be the kinda thing yer after Gayle, seen em many times top class no doubt.

The Swing Commanders are excellent - also very expensive.
 And yes, Neil we can have some loud rock bands after 7pm, that's at the time when we move the event to the other side of the park, just near the gates at the top of Rhyddings St. |
