Its the conference not the Premiership, you dont need tp work THAT hard to get goal.
That wasn't a very well thought out comment

Im not with you.

As a season ticket holder of a Premiership club I would suggest that in the Prem there is far more 'pattern' to the play.

In the conference you see more goals out of nowhere. When Aldershot went 1 up and Stanley went 3-1 up you would have seen a Premiership team shut the game down a lot more and look to hold what they had.

At this level though they still play crazy football commiting men forward.

Its good to watch but completely naieve.

My point is, generally speaking, to score 3 goals in a Premiership match you have to have a fairly good grip on the game, be dictating the midfield. In the conference though you see far more goals 'out of nowhere'.

I put this down in the main to the poor standard of the defending.

Was it that hard to understand??

Yes, and one that's scored once in five games, I won't even mention Dinamo Bucuresti.

Everton are obviously boring the pants off you, and the Premiership is losing support all round. You've got the idea, next season get yourself a Stanley season ticket, never a dull moment!

I'll never stop buying my season ticket BUT I might be tempted to get a stanley one as well next year. One step at a time though eh!!

I must admit, whilst there is much more naievity in the play it is far more enjoyable to watch. You can associate with the players much easier and the refs dont seem quite as picky.

I couldn't believe what I saw last night, the ref indicated a 'shoulder barge' and told Gary Roberts to get up and get on with it.

A shoulder barge!! Quality stuff, I haven't seen one of them let go for years in the Prem, they think its GBH you know!!

Good stuff, grass roots and all that, im looking forward to my next visit. Ill have to check the fixtures.

More & more will follow too, Non League will become the new "thing!". Affordable, local, laid back with terraces, real food, banter, sensible stewarding & policing.... etc etc

Last night was one of the Best Home games since Huddersfield for me, cracking!

Had a taste of league footie at Colchester, Bournebouth and Bradford, didn't enjoy the treatment from the stewards...

Sounds good to me. Im going citeh anyway so as you say, chance to make it a footy packed weekend. Probably more sensible to spend my money down at stanley instead of on the pop anyway, that city game is an 11.15 kick off so I dont want to be getting too well oiled on the saturday or I wont make it!!
