Most players contracts run until 30th June even if they are released. Most announcements don't happen until 1st July

Maybe, EW is doing business as we speak at the meeting of club chairpersons and chief execs in Portugal. We won't know until they return to England at the weekend.

are there any new signing on the horizon or are we going to set a new record for the smallest squad in the division surely there have to be some players that coley has spoken too and are interested in playing for us

It was reported on Radio Lancashire that Murdock and King (I think that's right) are signing today. The source was Jimmy Bell.
