Why on earth would Stanley sell him to Rotherham, when they have just been relegated to League One. That makes no sense, even at £1.5 million, However, it may just be able to tempt Paul Smyth up here as partner to Colby.

apart from a wage rise it makes no sense for him doing a sideways move either. he,ll be playing in the same division with a high expectation from the fans there because of his price tag. more pressure on him for a few quid extra.

If Dion is going anywhere it wouldn't surprise me if the deal is already done, Coley mentioned wheeling and dealing so could be a swap deal Hull have been mentioned just me thinking aloud possibly an exchange plus money for Tom Eaves say, but whatever happens like I said if he is going deal will probably already been sorted.

there are more deals done during the last few months of a season than people realise. been going on far longer than the age of our oldest fan. at least nowadays the deal will be better for stanley than many deals in the past where.

Mab,
Rotherham haven't got that sort of money. Cardiff have snapped up Collins on a free from Luton and Derby have they got anything ???
There will be interest but price tag may deter clubs. Personally I hope it does. Another season with us will do him no harm at all.
We just need to tie him in contract wise.

I think a lot of clubs will be very careful this close season with spending in the window Portsmouth for example have stated they have lost £700,000 a month during the pandemic hit more than a lot by attendances which accounts for about 70% of there income, saying Cowley,s budget will be less than this season. Stanley will have suffered along with the rest but with the smaller staff and less dependent on gate receipts could be in a decent position in the market.
