Re: Former Players!

Kevin Long, who we had on loan from Burnley three times, signed for Brum in Jan 23 for John Eustace. When Rooney arrived KL only featured twice, and only played in half (4) of Tony Mowbray’s games in charge. He’s now signed for Toronto

Re: Former Players!

Notice Josh Andrews had to come off injured in his first practice game for Gillingham's development team. Apparently unrelated to the injury that kept him out whilst he was with us but likely to keep him out for a few weeks.

Nicky Hunt is now one of the coaching staff at Macclesfield alongside Michael Clegg. They joined Macc from Warrington Rylands after Alex Bruce (son of Steve Bruce) left and became manager at Salford Moneybags

One of their first matches in charge will be on 9 March in the quarter-final of the FA Trophy, against Billy Kee's former club, Coalville Town, who beat Bishops Stortford away 3-0 in the previous round after numerous postponements.

Re: Former Players!

Joe Maguire, described on Wikipedia as 'an English former professional footballer', having 'retired at the end of the 2022-2023 season and is now a painter and pilot', has signed for Bury and came on as a late sub on Saturday.

Re: Former Players!

Seems like the child Charles has been up to his tricks with the Trotters (allegedly he’s been “injured” but, against his manager’s suggestion to stay home and get fit for the end of the season, swanned off to Northern Ireland to sit on the bench in a meaningless friendly)
