you,ll be surprised when you see it. completely rebuilt on three sides and quite modern looking with good facilities. only thing left is the old main stand which i don,t think is used anymore. far too big for them and was developed when the rugby league side were on a roll. think the council poared load of money into it. miss the slag heap as you alweays finished the game a yeard further down the bank than when you started. good old days however when football was football and the only refreshments worth an arguement was the the weakness of the bovril.

Aye but Halifax was always worth a visit, loved the pies.

yes forgot about them. they only cost the same as in the shops. good old days. no rip offs, getting soaked at the game with your old man or your mates and your ma moaning at you cos you got soaked again.

So you weren't there on New Years Day 2006, the season we won the conference to witness Rory Prendergast celebrating a Halifax goal in the 2-2 draw right in front of the Stanley fans. My blood still boils!
