I genuinely hope Coley is able to reinvest - it could be a busy week or so for him.
coley might have a problem as well. clubs know we have money to spend therefore their valuations will go up more than coley thinks they are worth. then there is the old problem about wages we pay. doubt any really good lower league player will be coming to stanley for a wage increase.

Re: Signings

Might come for the league one football though.
Might be interesting if we get to Saturday and no one has left, wonder how it would influence the team selection.....

Re: Signings

He's got to pick his best 11 Tom.
I don't think we're in the luxury position of leaving people out for anything other than performance or injury.

Re: Signings

Good point Tom, don’t think there’s a problem with the lads we’ve got, just a bit worried if lads are replaced with players on inflated salaries due to the cash received.
Think Coley is experienced enough to manage it though!!!

Re: Signings

I really cant see the club breaking their wage structure.
That limits the purchase side of the business but as many have already said its time for Coley to weave his magic again and secure more diamonds in the rough.

Re: Signings

We certainly wont pay more than the club is repeatedly capable of paying on wages just because we've got a few quid coming.

Andy will have that cash earmarked for stadium and infrastructure improvements that would have happened slower. Only yesterday he posted a picture of the corner of the ground with the changing rooms felt tipped out ...

Re: Signings

They can’t sign anyone anyway due to financial fair play regulations - until they offload players.

Better investment than being wasted on agents fees.
