That's not quite my point it's the fact that they are falling out about you guessed it money the premiership is quaking in its boots about losing TV money and the sad truth is that's the state the game has allowed itself to get in since the inception of the premiership in 1992, the game is full of greed corruption and it's now all being exposed.

Re: Coronovirus

Burnley chairman saying if they don't resume playing before August will lose £50,000,000 and will go bust, if a well run club is saying that what chances for the rest.

On the amounts that Premier League players are paid, a reduction of, say, 30% is extremely unlikely to affect their National Insurance contribution record and their state pension.

With furloughing, the employer can claim back 80% of the employee's pay, up to £2500 per month. In addition, the employer can claim employer's National Insurance Contributions on that amount, normally 13.8% of anything in excess of £732. The employer can also claim minimum workplace pension contributions. Employers can pay in excess of 80% or £2500 but cannot claim the excess back, nor can they claim associated National Insurance and pension contributions on the excess amount.

The employee pays PAYE and employee National Insurance contributions calculated on what they receive, as well as employee pension contributions.

that figure does seem high but its not really the point. so many others seem to be in the live now pay later bracket. its been said well before the present situation that the whole premier league could fall like a pack of cards if they have a problem like the lack of tv money. if everyone cancelled their sky subscriptions the would have problems well before this virus was ever thought of.

Well just shows to me that the FA acted on a whim not representing thier members on a fair basis, a lower league club has to adhere to the rules in normal times as any other but when they rushed into their original decision one rule for one and another for you they are wrongly running the whole shambles in what is clearly the greatest threat this and every country is facing. Let's hope that when we get through all this that people don't have short memories it's an opportunity to balance football for the better.

Re: Coronovirus

Football authorities have agreed that the season will not be completed before June 30th, they have decided that the transfer window will be extended open end at present because no idea when anything will restart. Expiring contracts they are looking at short term extensions depending on legal issues and discussions, they add hope these are decided on the good spirits they were first signed. Are they finally slowly realising unfortunately we are all in for a long haul stay safe everyone.
