Open letter from Rick Parry at EFL going "live" very soon.

We might be a bit behind as they've given everybody around 10 mins notice!!

Read it very interesting does mention football will probably start without spectators working on how to fund it and how to stream it to the public.

No. Hate to say it, but pandemic's getting worse.

Re: Coronovirus

The problem has I see it is when government relaxes lockdown we all know it's going to be gradual the EFL stating that the season must be finished ok then fund it because believe me without a clear funding message clubs won't co-operate fearing going bust with the expenditure behind closed doors brings. Going back to large gatherings with or without government approval without a vaccine people will be wary and change their habits which all of us are currently doing, football needs supporters otherwise it is useless let's all hope EFL for once get it right.

thats the point. think all this haste there seems to be around to kick start football again is so misguided at the moment. its like cashy said earlier, no one knows anything but are basically guessing stuff. when things have never happened before its impossible to find an answer.

This is just sad. Sometimes I want to question our scientists if they really are doing their job to find a cure. I just want this to end...

It's a good read but what annoys me is they are still talking about future dates when to finish the season and still falling out about players wages, it's becoming increasingly obvious that social distancing and every thing that brings to the table that football in this country isn't going to resume any time soon. IMHO they should be doing everything in their power to protect every member club some who are already saying they will struggle to meet April,s wages never mind May and June and beyond. A decision about June 30th contract end dates should be a priority because the lower end earners out of contract with financial obligations could face severe hardship.

Be interesting to see what happens in Spain and Italy, who seem to be ‘re-opening’ partially.

To me it read more like platitudinous BS that anyone in an administrative job could have written and basically says little that most people don’t already know.
