I'm predicting 1-0 Stanley - but will be quite happy with a draw ......

Re: Prediction League 2021/22 Game 28; v Sunderland (home)

Nige B back on the podium as the draws keep coming

Sitting on the fence is definitely proving to be the place to be recently . 6 of you perched up there today, with 3 on the top rung picking up maxis . Best placed of these was Nige B, moving up from 5th to 3rd as a result, overtaking Shurm and Kiwi John, whose long winning run came to an end. Tommy McQueen also profited with a jump from 14th to 11th, and Outback Ozzy clambered well clear of the basement with a leap from 26th to 20th.

3 points for 2-2 predictions saw Stevie R slide by LongLostSon into 6th, Tommy McQueen progress from 14th to 11th, and Watchdog from 22nd to 19th. And all but 5 of the rest of us saw us pick up a bonus point for a goal at one end or the other (in point of fact, it was 7 at each end, if you see what I mean). For the unlucky and un-named 5, firing blanks cost at most two places.

So on we roll to Ipswich, sitting just a point behind us in the table . 5 games unbeaten for us sounds quite impressive , 3 games without a win rather less so . Both of course are true, and it wouldn't be a disaster to extend both runs - but a win would be nice, wouldn't it? Of course it would ....

On Stanley On!!
