Re: Charlton match

Better than for some time. Thought we just about deserved the lead up until a pretty lucky strike hit us.

Re: Charlton match

Great performance and a decent result away from home (we could have won the game). Hopefully the weather will hold out allowing Tuesdays game to go ahead whilst we are in good form.

Re: Charlton match

There are draws and there are draws. This was a proper, well deserved point, as opposed to the sorry points at Cheltenham and Burton, where we were lucky to score nil.

Not necessarily pretty, apart from the goal, a lot of missed last passes, but there was ambition. I haven’t seen this for a long time. Probably as good a performance as I have seen since the turn of the year. Conneelly and Rodgers very influential. Leigh missed a lot but his presence was important imo.

Agree. A really positive performance that deserved three points more than it did the one. We were the dominant side in the second-half, and Coley made some positive substitutions to try and win the game in the final stages. We put plenty of balls across their box, just couldn’t find a Stanley man to create a clear opportunity. Special mention for Dan Martin, who I thought was excellent amidst a lot of very solid Stanley performances.
