My dad had a quadruple one done in 2003. He was 54 at the time. The hospital in Blackpool is lovely, and they will look after you very well. My dad is fine now, say it was the best thing he ever did. Good lluck withit and hope it makes you feel better Mick.

Holidays......
Re: Holidays......
I adore the Greek islands - Lefkas is beautiful and you will enjoy it no end. I don't know how easy it is to get to Athens from there, but if you have never been, the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus are worth a day trip.Posted 19-06-2005 at 18:58 by -pixie -
On the topic of motherhood...
Re: On the topic of motherhood...
Margaret that is EXACTLY how I feel. Except for the kittens - I'm more of a dog person! Why do people think that if you are not fawning over your child that you don't love them? Setting boundaries early on IMO, will make my job as a mother much easier later on. And why do people think that if you discipline your child, you don;t love them?Posted 30-05-2005 at 20:41 by -pixie -
A walk in the park......
Re: A walk in the park......
Sounds like you had a lovely afternoon. I will have to get round to visiting Oakhill Park as I have never been. That and the Coppice are my places in Accy to visit list.Posted 28-05-2005 at 21:47 by -pixie -
Three down......
Re: Three down......
I don't know how you do it - lots of newborn babies six nights on the trot. The mere thought terrifies me!Posted 10-05-2005 at 06:21 by -pixie -

Re: I'm not going to scream, I promise I'm not.
Oooh...I am sending happy calming thoughts your way. This time next year it will be me thats stressing (and probably becoming a bridezilla!)
As for the balloons, warn her in advance, she might even treat it as some sort of therapy!Posted 07-04-2005 at 07:58 by -pixie
