Keep your fingers crossed at 5.30pm tomorrow..... Spugs got a job interview!! I just hope he gets it. He's had a couple of temp jobs but this would be a permanent one.... so fingers crossed and i just hope he gets it. Rang sky today to find out more bout their broadband and tv how long would it take to be installed etc and he said i can i put you on hold ... and he cut me off!!! Not good customer relations is it?

The following morning, we packed up our stuff and headed to the bus station. We had Intercity tickets to Auckland that morning. I texted my friend 'P' to let her know we were on our way back. She was meeting us for a late lunch as it was our last day in New Zealand

We caught the coach from Hamilton bus station and sat behind the driver. He was a lovely bloke, Maori descent, very talkative and direct. Pulling out of Hamilton station, we spotted an extremely overweight young lass eating what appeared to be a foot long baguette with a gooey, greasy looking filling.
"She's had way too many of them", quipped our driver. He said what we were thinking and we immediately hit it off..

The next day i wake at 9 am, i feel sick. I ring hynburn council and ask them what to do, they tell me to go down to their office.. i get there and they interview me and ring my ex to check that i really am homeless (why would i lie?) and find us a place in a hostel, the warden gives us the keys, shows us around, tells us the rules and fills in the paperwork.

At this point i havent eaten for 2 days, i have no money and i feel useless... I am supposed to care for my son and keep him safe and i havent. My friend buys me some food and goes home. we are alone in the hostel, my son is crying for his things and i am crying because i didnt protect him from this. I sit in the kitchen on my own and consider calling social services and...
