On tuesday i went to the docs. I keep getting headaches and theyre bad ones. They go and then come back half an hour later. Ibuprofen make a dent but not much just ease it a bit. What does make them go away is sweets. Put that with me drinking a fair bit of water a lot more than what i usually do - im wary. Especially with my family history.

So made an appointment for the docs first one i could get was next week. Waited till tuesday morning and got an emergency appointment for that afternoon. So the doc has sent me for blood tests plus gave me some more ibuprofen plus had a look at my knee cos its still sore from when i had the fit, and my back thats still giving me some jip from time to time. Tell you im a walking wreck!!!...

He was born at 12.12 this afternoon, weighing 7lb 1oz and his name is Euan

Got a phone call last night at 20.00, from dispatch asking if I could go to Conakry, Guniea as they needed a pilot. The flight was to depart at 23.00 and return this morning at 07.00. We set off on the flight, with a full load of pax, 191 souls on board, and settled in for the night. Captain Sadouk, we call him Sadouko, I am sure you can guess why, was acting as Pilot Monitoring while I was Pilot Flying. Somewhere over the Sahara, we lost contact with Dakar Radio, on HF, and tried to contact Stockholm Radio, who keep a listen out world wide, on HF, instead. Our aircraft are all fitted with a inflight satellite broadcast system called ARCARS, this suddenly chirped into life and we has a message printed off from base. At the same time, Stockholm...

Spug has got his new works uniform today... the only snag is (and this is in his own words hes dictating it) for them to sit right he would have to hang them from his nipples - im piercing em when he comes down.... he says they are 6 inches too long ... anyone got miracle gro?

Its a pain having short legs... Spug says anyone got a medieval rack where he can be stretched? He also says he's no padding for when hes on his bike.... His bum has shrunk he says its an anorexic backside (he said something else but i dont want to get banned) its all the exercise he gets cycling to and from work - all of 25 miles and on top of that his shopping trips ... i suggested botox or bum implants ...

Before we went away Ma phoned the hotel to ask to be put in the dining room at a table waited on by David.....he had been our waiter on a couple of visits before......Mum had a real soft spot for him (her bed, I think)......he always made a fuss of her and he was easy on the eye...and delightfully young.
The last time we were at the hotel, David had just done his exams to enter the Royal Navy.
I suggested to Ma that perhaps he would have left by now...and that is why she rang up.
They told her he hadn't left yet.
On the first night down at dinner we were allocated a table that was waited on by a very pleasant(but ditzy) scots girl.
I could see Ma scanning the dining room for David. He was nowhere to be seen....
