I posted earlier about telephone cold calling....said I was mad at myself for missing a chance to use one of the methods for stopping these cold callers in their tracks(after all we all need to make a crust...and it is a job after all).
I had had a phone call even earlier than the one which left me kicking myself, but put the phone down on the caller, as I was overcome with a fit of choking coughing....and the daft foreign bird on the other end of the line must have heard me gasping for breath between coughs and carried on like nothing was happening......here I am blue in the face and wheezing and she is rabbiting on about services from Talk Talk......so no, that isn't why I feel a proper rat.

I have been waiting for one of those 'cold call' phone calls.
Ever since I read the Thread about how people deal with these I have been waiting to put into action one of the methods of dealing with them.

When I got one of these phonecalls I was going to ask who was calling......then ask if they were a friend or relative of the deceased ...just to see what their reaction was.
I have just had a chap on the phone from N-Power......and what did I do?
I blew it!!!!!
He asked for hubby....I asked what he wanted him for...and when I heard it was a sales call I told him in no uncertain terms not to phone again and to remove this number from their database.....Grrrrrrr! I could have had such fun and I missed my...

It has been an exciting past few weeks of preparation for me and now everything has come into play.

Yesterday I got my exam results and overall I got a 2.1 for the year, so I'm very happy indeed.

I'm working on some summer schools at the uni as some of you may know, and last night was my first night with my girls. I went into my room to let them all get ready for bed and say good night to eachother, and I expected them to be busy chatting to eachother by the time I got back but to my surprise all of them had got themselves into bed and were quiet straight away, I was really pleased that they followed my rules!
