Pity the poor Judiciary

I had to laugh, well you do don't you. Listening to the news yesterday my curiosity was piqued by a report that Their Lordships, the country's Judges, had gotten themselves into a bit of a mucksweat and were threatening to resign en masse. It seems that the government is planning to put a cap on pensions and tax the excess.

A tad unfair you might think, after all, a chap needs to provide for the needs of old age and all that. Until you realise that the cap will be placed on pensions of over one and a half million pounds.

Not content with having built up considerable fortunes from a life in private practice all of which is safely invested and returning a healthy income thank you and the salary of a judge which...

When I am not out taking photographs for the puzzles or being dragged around by Acrylic-Biff or driving myself insane trying to get the new business sorted out. I sometimes have time to relax with a nice conspiracy theory or two. Well everyone needs a hobby.
One of my current favourite internet occupations is cruising alternative news sites. I find the amount of inventive nonsense that these sites often carry amazing and quite often amusing, particularly at the moment given the recent U.S. Presidential Elections.

This is my first entry so it's going to be a quick one, unlike my usual lengthy posts.

I will be appearing here from time to time to rant and rave and soliloquise myself into insensibility - well it's cheaper than gin and there isn't the same problem with memory lapses.

In this blog I will be talking to myself - nothing new there! But if anyone wishes to comment on my ramblings, please feel free.
