At home they whinge about you being at uni, saying you know nothing about the real world, at uni they sterotype you about where you come from and prejudge you, how do you win?

Someone has gone as far to say there is more pride in being on benefits today rather than working for less. Is that what its come to?

Should I just have a baby instead of ploughing through years of study, is that enough of an achievement now alone to gain respect in life? You may wonder what could be so amazing about 'The House of Cool' for me to take time to write about it. Well the truth is that it doesn't exist, at least not to me.

It's a title one of my housemates has given to our house, even their girly mates have started referring to it as such. If only they new the truth. We are far far from cool. I myself am I totally devoted geek queen.

So let me tell you about my housemates. The first, the one who gave it the title, is a business studies student, half Iranian, thinks every single girl he comes across is hot, and I swear this is just a cover up for the fact he is blatantly camp. Well all my assignments are in now, thank god that is over with. I was getting a bit stressed out about it to be truthful, it was a rather hectic week in week 2. I had a multiple choice exam on friday as well, it wasn't particularly hard, nothing to worry about anyway.
Apparently they put a big list of names up in the order of marks which I think is a bit like naming and shaming. I don't really like that idea, particularly because everybody could get really high marks but there is still going to have to be someone at the bottom who is going to have their confidence knocked.

When I first heard Britney had released a new song aimed at the paparazzi I was a bit worried that she'd done another thing to fuel their cravings for portraying her as a failure.

Fortunately for her she released what I think is a brilliantly worked song, much better than her 'come back' single 'gimme more'.

Focussing on the paparazzi's ability to contradict themselves for the sake of a story she outlines how they lack credibility.

I'm back at university and I have started new modules. After public law, I didn't think they could get any worse. Then I had my first EU law lecture. I have to say, it reminded me of my failure of history at college. The lecture was extremely boring and I spent the whole 2 hours watching the clock. Then I started the work on friday, and its really difficult! Being in group 1 I have to have it finished by monday morning too, which I thought was pretty impossible but I have got round it now so I'm not AS worried. Just got to hope it goes ok!
