Finally moved

Moved to new house on 23rd October. Love it back down the bottom end. the neighbours actually speak to you, and it is so much quieter.
House needs quite a few jobs doing to it, but we are in, that's the main thing, and at least I know things are actually going to get done here. they have already done quite a bit. Finally got internet back on today, missed it so much for last 2 weeks, and not just for Accy web lol!
Main thing now is getting aerial sorted (Thursday), so we have TV downstairs, and waiting for landlord to put a gas point in the kitchen so I can use my oven again. Thought I was going to have to pay for that myself, but they are covering the cost. Have managed OK though, got a slow cooker, grill and such...but got a craving for fried eggs lol!
Only downer at the mo is having to pay a couple of hundred quid for car repairs, but it's got to be done...and got a good price for the job from Kevin, behind Aldi.
Lads sorted at uni now. Settling in. got money sorted, and actually getting more money than they originally thought. Also their mate who moved there with them, has now got a full time job. So that's another weight off my mind.
Actually feeling pretty stress free at the moment, better than I've been for a long while.
