The Empty Nest

Well, the three lads have finally gone. They departed on monday, after signing all the paperwork with the agents on their new property near Uni. Took a few bits down with them. Tuesday night Brian, my partner, took an estate car full of boxes and bags down there. Now all that is needed is to arrange a time and a van to take their larger items. Instruments and amps, computers, a bed, etc.

Was raring to go, decluttering and reorganising. Not reorganising too much though, as we want to move out of here as soon as we find somewhere that suits.

So what happens Tuesday night, just before bed? I jump up to answer the phone, and crunch, put my back out. So, as yet, not been able to do anything. So frustrating! Just about managing to hobble around now - Friday.

The house is soooo quiet though! A bit of a shock, with three boys and their girlfriends all disappearing at once. Don't doubt I will adapt though, especially when I am fully mobile again and actually get things done.
