Little bits of this and that...... but none of the other!
More Dog blog...can you stand it?

Phew, I have been waiting all day to get a turn on the keyboard.
You Know, I'm quite enjoying this......pity it will all end tonight for a few days......my little legs aren't long enough to reach the switch that switches this machine on....and Mum is going away with Grandma Duck.
Don't ask who Grandma Duck is......I haven't the foggiest, but the little lad and his sister who come to play over here, are always going on about her........so she must be somebody pretty important.
When I first arrived at my new home it was all very strange, but in a good way...well, that is except for the black furry animal who arched her back and spat at me.......she said some very rude words.....things that i am not encouraged to say.....but the last word was OFF!
I wouldn't care, but I had not done anything bad to her......all I had done was to advance and smell at her bottom.......I didn't know this was not a polite approach to a cat...we dogs don't mind it at all.
It is a bit like the masons handshake...it tells us whether it is friend or not.
Pasha - for this is what she is called, was very wary of me....and on more than one occasion she spagged me with her claws.....it isn't nice when you lick your nose and find the taste of your own blood on your tongue. I decided that I would give this little madam a wide berth.
Then there was 'lad'........another cat......white, well most of the time he is white.....he has come in the house a few times and he has been as black as the devils nutting bag......but Mum doesn't seem to mind this and she cleans him off - when he will let her that is.
He wasn't friendly at first, but I proved that I didn't wish him any harm and we are pals now....especially as when he has finished eating I can usually sneak into the kitchen and finish off whatever is left on his plate....I like friends who are willing to share their grub with me.

Never tire of anything you write.
Saved them up recently, and had a marathon read the other night. What a treat, and went to bed with the usual happy grin your blog always sticks on my mush. ![]() |
