Have had the flu for the last week ... wednesday downgraded it to a bad cold .... wednesday i had to go to the docs at 4.30 .... at 4.30 i was in bed!!!! Well thats where i was when i came round!!! Had another fit and my face is a mess. Have carpet burns that run the length of my nose, underneath my nose, under my eye and a big graze and bump on my forehead. I do make a lovely picture!!!! It hurts to smile, spuggie said the pic i sent him made it look like a mugger had got hold of me. At least he cant see my face in real life. Then he would do his nut in!!!

They've only just upped the medication last month ... think it might have to do with having the flu ... Neurologist i saw said having an infection might bring it on. Whats flu but an infection? I do look a mess though ....

you'd think with the amount of people with epilepsy they would have found something to stablise the condition by now....this may sound stupid but have they actually ever found a cause for it? something that triggers them other than an infection?
i'm quite thick when it comes to epilepsy so please forgive my questions xx |

Its ok .. its the only way people find out about it by asking questions. Theres different types of epilepsy and there are different triggers in different people .. like what could set me off could be one thing but in someone else it doesnt bother. Some medications work in different people and dont work in others. Its just getting the right medication .. but then again some people have epilepsy that cant be controlled by medication.
