I won!!!

I won a pool game ... a singles pool game and we also won 5-4 so we won the match!!! We were actually getting beat 4-3 when entwisi put me on ... probably expecting me to get beat as usual ...... but you should have seen his face after when i won ... was a picture!!! But after i won .. and it went to the final game ... entwisi was the last singles player ... and he won as well. There is a story as well to go with this as well.
We do a football card as well pays for the food the pub puts on. Anyway bro sent me a text message do you want me to come and pick you up ... course i did but i hadnt played yet so might have to wait. Anyway he lands as im starting my game ... they asked if he wanted a go on the card he said yeah ok ... and he won!!! He had to win something last night - he'd got beaten and lost his 100% record so me being me .. said do i get a cut ... he said if you win your game you can have half .. he won a £10 ... so i kept going .. didnt think i'd win ... one i was playing against was on the black .. i still had a couple to pot .. bro thought he was onto a good thing .. one i was playing is a good player .... i managed to get mine over the pockets and potted them and then missed the black .... but left it safe ... then he missed the black .. but left it over the pocket ... and i managed to pot it without the white following it in!!!
That is the first time i've won a singles game since i played the vic when the rising bridge was open!!! So bro had to give me the fiver seeing as i'd won, then entwisi went on and won. We did well ... but have now been told that i've proved i can win .. now i have to win again next week!!! That will be a flipping miracle!!!!
Oh and seeing as bro came down for me .. its broth on thursday again.
Spuggies not well at the minute ... Theres a flu bug going round work at the minute and everybody is catching it ... It started when i was rough with mine .. hes managed to last out till this week .. and he does sound rough. Have told him what i got told and told him to get some menthol crystals ... hes going to get some today. I just hope he dont get it as bad as what i did ... he is a lot healthier than me so with any luck it wont be as bad.

He is good at Pool so it was a very good win.
Congrats, its all about keeping going and playing your own game, don't get caught up too much in the other persons game. |
