Fun time Red

Every year on the Thursday that falls between Christmas & New Year one of my best friends and I make a point of going out. It's only ever the two of us on purpose as we go absolutely mad and then can only blame each other for any daft things we may do!!!
This year proved no different! We headed on down into Preston but we didn't go mad drink wise but certainly got into the spirit of fun and laughter. My friend bumped into a couple of her customers (her company manufacture gas fires), luckily happy ones and they joined in our fun.
We danced to loads of 80's music in the 80's reflex bar which brought quite a few funny looks but oh what the hell, do we care??? Although I did stay away from the pole... this time!!
The drinks were flowing (some non alcoholic of course), the laughter was loud, and the dancing became crazier and crazier... but that just seemed to attract loads of others to join in..... mad, mad, mad but what fun!
In fact at one point we decided to make our escape to the next pub before either of us did decide to get up onto the pole dancing stage, now that could have been really embarrassing.
We finished the evening in the take away... of course and pizza and kebab later, which we duly shared around we got our taxi home. By this time though the snow was falling pretty heavy and we were concerned if it would be worse when we got back to her house in langho. The snow continued all the way back and it had started sticking, so when the taxi dropped us off at the gate to her driveway we held on to each other for dear life as we walked down the long dark driveway. Phew, we made it in without any mishap!!
Just to finish a really good night, her other half quickly made us a brew, mmmm that was a good brew!
I slept in one of her sons rooms and remember clearly dreaming of drinking loads and loads of water, woke up really thirsty in the middle of the night but didn't dare go and get a drink as I'd forgot to bring any nightclothes so it could have been embarassing if someone else had woke up thirsty too!!! I managed to drop off again and woke up this morning feeling pretty good, especially after a gallon of water and a couple of nice cups of tea... and yes I had got dressed
