Well that's it, the culmination of 6 months work was presented today and thankfully it went pretty well. There was one point when my colleague got slightly tongue tied and needed a drink and kept apologising, so to cover it up I told them all about Marg's advice and that we were stood up there imagining they were all naked or even constipated, which raised a few laughs ... but me being me decided to take it one step further and ended the comment with "And I can assure you it's not a pretty sight!!" followed by going bright red!! oops, luckily it was all taken in good humour.

I did get a bit click happy at one time and managed to click through 3 slides in one go on powerpoint so then had to back track, but other than...

Mentioned many moons ago in my blog I talked about the review of processes at work that I have been involved in... well the end is nigh and it's gone manic!!!

This Friday is big presentation day. Myself and a colleague have to do a powerpoint presentation that we have created (66 slides in all) which is a collection of all the data, results, losses to the company, wastage, duplication of work, problems and issues we have found throughout this very long winded "void process".

The presentation is done in front of the whole senior management team and from what we have presented it's then decided whether the whole process needs to be re-designed.

So today we put the finishing touches to...

So are we all worried? Are some of you not able to leave the house in the fear of something terrible might happen.

The weird thing is if anything bad happens to anyone today they will blame it on the date. But if it happened last week ... they wouldn't!!

Where does the idea that Friday the 13th is so unlucky. Is their statistics to show that unlucky things happen on this date more than any other??

I very much doubt. I don't believe in all this and upto now today is going pretty well.

On another note... I have still been doing my walking, swimming and being a bit more careful of what I eat...BUT

Well nearly a week has passed since my last blog and yet here I am still stuck in this weird limbo land.

My state of mind and emotions seem to be all over the place, and yet I can't pin down what it is or what's caused it. Maybe it's a mixture of things!

All I do know is that I could do with a right good kick up the rear end to be polite.

On a positive note though, I am still continuing the walking and I even went swimming on Friday night. Oh how my arms ached. It has been a long time since I had swam any distance as usually when I go with the kids you don't get any serious swimming done, but I reckon I did myself proud on Friday and am planning to repeat it again this week, eventually working to twice...
