Well all's calm here after yesterdays blow out. The lads seem to be on their best behaviour and they have been niggling at each other less today. I have a nice bruise on my hand as payback for catching eldest lads knee, ouch!

I think I've spent quite a bit today apologizing and telling them how much I love them... now there's a guilt trip for you.

Also today I finally got the xmas decs & tree up, so all I've left to do now is write my cards and finish wrapping pressies...

Well I have just calmed down from absolutely losing it with my lads. They really are good lads but they were having one of their "go's" at each other which if left almost decends into WW3. I tried to get them to compromise but it just didn't seem to be working (lads are 12 & 13 years old). Then out of the blue I completely and I mean completely lost it, in fact I think the whole street heard me lose it!!!!

It would not be an understatement to say that I completely and utterly cracked up.... I was ranting, raving and lashing out, throwing stuff and generally developing into a monster....

Why did I get like that??? I wish I knew the answer, the only thing I can think of is I have been a bit under pressure...

Christmas shopping... Oh how I hate all the hassle that goes with it. I have booked tomorrow off work so I can get majority of it done. I have some bits already but still got quite a lot to buy.

I'm not the best shopper anyway but with the build up to christmas it's even worse.

Everywhere is absolutely manic and you spend half your time people dodging!!! Then there are the people you have no idea what you are going to buy for and that is when it really gets on my nerves. Walking around aimlessly trying to think up or spot some good ideas on what to get them.

I tend to lean towards buying a few cheaper presents for people rather than one expensive one so then you are more likely to actually get something...

I for one am so glad it's the weekend. It's been a week that I am so happy to see the back of for so many reasons and to be quite honest I'm not even going to go into why it was soo bad. But yippee its now over and weekend here I come!!!!

It's a pretty busy weekend too. With stanley tomorrow afternoon, accyweb meet tomorrow night and school shoe shopping sunday (prob try and get a few crimbo pressies too) and in between catching up with the housework and washing.

Talking of school shoes I can't believe that my youngest needs another pair so soon. No, it's not because he has outgrown them... more like outscuffed them to the point that the soles have been almost worn away to nothing and they are practically falling...

Ok the title may seem a bit too dramatic. But I have had a pretty dramatic hair cut today... or should I call it a severe hair cut! I have spent the last couple of years growing it and now I've gone and had most of it cut off!!!! Oh well at least it's in really good condition now.

I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not. I suppose the test will be when I have to style it myself and also after a couple of weeks when its just grown and softened a little bit. I also had 3 different colours put in... The result..... a natural mixed blonde mop!, ha ha.

I also ventured down to Debenhams tonight to their Christmas Extravaganza and ended up only buying a pair of jeans and a matching denim jacket with faux fur...
