Alien abduction.

Posted 08-01-2006 at 14:37 by lettie

Had a brilliant night last night. As a fine upstanding member of the community it was my moral duty to help Rindy celebrate his birthday. I arrived at 8pm and was soon joined by Romps, Neil, Sarah, HR, and Chav. After a drink we all went round Ossy for a few more. It seems that it was karaoke night in Ossy, there were some good singers and some bloody awful ones too. I didn't sing as I didn't want any of the pubs to lose their customers.

We went into Accy at the end of the night and ended up in the Bridge. I was having a drink and a bit of a dance when out of the corner of my eye I saw the unmistakeable mane of long red hair.......... I crossed the room and grabbed the owner of the mane, my best mate Mange (Angie). I introduced her to the rest of the crowd and we all drank, sang and danced the night away.

At 3.30am I was abducted into a taxi by Mange and dropped off at home. I haven't been out that late in years and I have to admit to being somewhat worse for wear. It took me ages to get into my house, my front door wouldn't stay still and it took me 5 minutes to find the keyhole, it's a shame that I hadn't found my key first. By the time I found my key I had lost the keyhole again. After tripping over the dog and falling into the kitchen I finally found the stairs, crawled up them on my hands and knees and got onto my bed. It was revolving rather quickly and everytime I tried to sit up to take my boots off I was pushed back down by centrifugal force.

I have no recollection of getting undressed and going to sleep. I think that I may have been abducted by aliens at this point. When I woke up this morning I was undressed, there were clothes all over the bedroom floor and the bed was still revolving. I have ringing in my ears, my brain feels as though it has shrunk to the size of a walnut and is clattering painfully against my skull every time I move. All of my good intentions for a busy housework day have gone out of the window. I am going to wallow in my hangover and watch the telly...

OMG!! I used to suffer with the same problem. The bed takes on a world of its own and starts spinning around the bedroom.
I have actuually took time out to solve this. I usually leave my t.v on standby, and I found that if I just stare at the little red light, my bed stops dancing round the room, and, I can finally fall asleep with no spinning, and no sick!!!! good eh??
