Nostalgia night

Well I've dragged my carcas out of bed early today. It was a quiet night at work until about 5am this morning when I'm sure that some kind soul dropped off a busload of labouring women outside Queens Park. By the time the day staff arrived chaos reigned on the delivery suite....
I was so glad to finally get into bed but I've got up early for a reason. At Christmas I was lucky enough to receive 2 tickets to see Tony Hadley and Martin Fry at Bridgewater Hall from Sparky and the show is tonight. So here I am with my face on, dressed, and good to go. We are going out for tea first, I daren't tell him that I've only just had breakfast, but luckily I have the capacity to be able to eat at any time of day or night so I should manage a meal. I'm sure that I was once a Hobbit in a former life. My usual day starts with an early breakfast followed by a late breakfast a couple of hours later. Then comes elevenses followed by lunch. Most days I will have an afternoon snack then my tea and I always have supper. Sometimes I will even wake up in the night for a light snack.
Anyway, I digress.... I'm looking forward to tonight, it should bring back some memories and hopefully be a good old 80's nostalgia night. When we came home from New Zealand we were both brassed off because it seemed that we had nothing to look forward to. That is so not true, we'll just have to keep going to shows and nights/days out and try to keep our peckers up until the next trip.
