Maybe it is time to find a new home.
I have been a member of this forum for almost 4 years.....it will be four years on the 22nd of October.
I have enjoyed being a part of this community. I have shared things about myself, about my family and about my daily life.
I have made some good friends...some of them I have never seen, but still feel they are friends.
These friends have boosted me on my damp grey days, they have laughed with me, and sometimes cried with me.
I have experienced(second hand, I know) some of the sadnesses gone through by other members.
It has been like a family to me.
I believe that the contributions I have made to the forum have been valid and have sometimes made for interesting reading.
But I have been thinking that perhaps it is time for me to move on......I am finding it increasingly difficult to be civil to one member of the forum......and I would rather go on my terms than be banned from the site for saying something that perhaps I shouldn't.
Am I being silly and sensitive? I don't know.
I am going to consider my position.

would miss you n yer contribution to the forum very much margaret, hope ya stay, theres always the "ignore" button, i have only ever used it once in my time, but it was heaven.

No Marg you most certainly should not leave, ok maybe being a bit selfish but your words brought me great comfort after Ian died and have done so since. Why should one selfish bombastic individual spoil what is to many an extended family?? Maybe Cashy is right just put the old fool on "ignore" but please don't leave

Margaret just put the member on your ignore list whoever it is
we don't want you leaving who would write all the blogs i love to read them they bring back so many memories if your having a problem just report them we will sort it. |

PLEASE DON'T GO Margaret. You would be missed by a lot of people on here.
Use your ignore button or get in touch with the mods. Am sure they will be able to sort something out for you hun. xx |

Only just seen this, as I was saving your blogs up, for a good long read.
I too feel jaded, and some of the good feeling in this virtual community has changed of late. Please don't leave, take a break, but don't go forever. Your number one fan for one would really miss your wonderful presence, and a blog that always makes me smile. x |

It seems to me Margaret that a lot of people on here are very fond of you. Don’t give it up if it’s something you enjoy. As soon as you see the certain persons name just ignore it you don’t have to respond. I’m new to posting on here but I always enjoy reading your posts. By the way I like your new avatar to - is it you - only the bloke looks familiar?!

Of course you are being silly and overly sensitive Margaret!
For someone who did a wonderful job nursing for all those years, having to control your emotions when dealing with great sadness many times, surely this issue with you should be a piece of cake. I love this place (and so do you if the truth is known), so don't be daft and get posting again ! |
