I know that I said I was a 'Sport' convert...but that doesn not extend to watching Darts on the telly....that's what hubby has on at the moment......Darts (yawn)....I would rather watch wood warp.
So I was bored...honest to God, 100%, 24 carat bored.
I have done my nightly fitness check on the Wii.......I'm now down to 38......I was 29 the other day......so today I must've messed up somewhere(think it was the baseball....I'm rubbish at that).
I have tried a few games of Bookworm. I think I am going to have to kick these arcade games in the head......instead of getting better, I am getting worse......and the trivial Blitz game Bah, Grrrrrr! can't do it.

Summer is great for Sport.......now I never ever thought I would be saying that.
I have never been into sport in a big way.
No........I'm lying. I would go so far as to say that I hate most sport.

does ten pin bowling count as a sport?......I'm not really sure.
And golf.....Now I always considered that to be a good walk spoiled. And aren't the fees ludicrously expensive...that and the balls!
Tennis and Wimbledon....never been on my list of things that I like........I'm not even keen on the strawberries and cream angle of it. Baseball?? Now isn't that a brasher version of rounders?

I normally suffer from Hay fever......OK, I know it isn't exactly life threatening, but it does make you feel pretty miserable.
This year though, I was quietly congratulating myself on not having been so bad.....isn't that just fatal......because all this week I have had a throat like sandpaper and a nose like a blind cobblers thumb...and if any of you by chance meet me in town and I look like I have been crying, or worse, like I am crying....I'm not......it is just this blooming hay fever. I haven't been taking my medication, because it has been so mild this year...but I am going to have to mend my ways.

I looked out of the window a little while ago and the rain was still coming down like stair rods...not exactly the stuff you would want in 'Flaming June'.....is it?
I am just glad that the pile of washing I had to do, was done yesterday.
Much to hubby's disapproval....I had a good size load going round and round when he lugubriously told me that it was set to 'hiss down' all day.
'So does that mean I can't get the washing done? Do I have to wait until the sunshines to wash your smelly undercrackers?' I asked.
This knowing man just gave me a half hearted gallic shrug.
I didn't care if it did rain all day.....I could always hang the stuff in the garage......well, I could if I could reach the line in there.

My friend has not been very well.
I only found out that she had not been well because she phoned to tell me that she hadn't really forgotten my birthday, but hadn't felt well enough to come round and bring my card......she has vertigo.....now that doesn't sound like a life threatening thing does it...well, that is unless you try to drive when you have it......

I told M not to worry about my blooming birthday....goodness knows there will be another one here before I know it.
