Green tea!??

Well i have bought some of the stuff from asda, as I thought I would give it a try, and ya know what it dont taste too bad either....you just have to make sure ya only brew it for at least a min...no more!
otherwise ya get a bitter taste...yuk
Anyway thought Id try this as I read somewhere with some evidence suggesting regular green tea drinkers may have lower chances of heart disease and developing certain types of cancer
Also it speeds up Metabolism, which is good news for me especially when im on a diet
Anyway last week I gave it a go to see whether it did boost my weight loss....over the last few weeks i have slowed down , only loosing about half to 1 pound a week, and sometimes staying the same
....but as I was saying I tried this green tea last week and had my routine weigh-in on tuesday, and guess what?...I lost 2 and a half pounds this week!!!
now is that due to me taking the green tea and it indeed speed up my metabolism, or was it just coincidence??
Im on it again this week to see if the same happens again, if it does then im on a winner
, if not then what harm can it do?
otherwise ya get a bitter taste...yuk

I don't think it matters what it was that helped you, you should be congratulated on your weight loss...Well Done!
I got some Tetleys Green tea, and I have to say it just tasted like boiled water to me....and I'm sure I left it for a good minute.....or more. I'm glad I only bought 25 bags. Anyway the rest of them found theri way into the rubbish. I like builders tea......hot and strong and resting on the leaves(it has to be proper leaves)......it gets better and better as you get to the bottom of the mug. |
