Am well on the way to full recovery now, its been 6 weeks since the operation, movement in the joint is great, no pain at all. I saw the Consultant on Thursday, he was pleased with my progress, next appointment is in 5 months.
Roll on the golf season.

Well December 12th 2009 and still off the weeds, but a new twist in the tail is a weeks stay in Burnley Hospital for a total hip replacement operation, more like a production line trying to meet targets, I went in on Monday 7th dec. They operated on Tuesday 8th Dec. and told me I could go home on Friday 11th Dec. I don't know if the quick exit was due to staff finding out I came from Blackburn !!!!!!

Still going strong, not touched a weed, got weight under control as well

Well we are now in to October, and I am still not smoking, got a weight problem but am breathing a lot better

Well boxing day 2005 seems back in the distant past, still going strong not touched a cig since then. Slight problem with the weight but am working on that.................5 boxes of Amber Leaf still for sale cheap.
