Went to the Mount Pleasant Nativity Play.....although they didn't call it that. I went as a stand in for a friend whose son was one of the Wise Men.... they didn't call them that either. My friend is a nursery nurse and had to work so she wanted me to film the play so that she could see it later. I am no great shakes when it comes to taking videos, but I did my best and though I say it myself it is a passable effort......at least there are some good sections where she can see her son James in all his glory. I never realised that there was so much competition to get a good seat.....I was glared at by several people (because, I suppose it was not plain who I was......not part of the school yard crew) although the glares did diminish when...

This afternoon i made my usual trip to visit my sister, well, guess what.
She was just putting the finishing touches to her tree, trimmed up n all. I told her it was a little early, says me who has all the pressies. Low and behold when i got home i thought i may as well put my tree up.It's looking very nice in front of the window though i do say so myself.

I have just been looking at Janets Journal......my goodness she is well organised......got all the presents, wrapped them too...written the cards and says if she drops down dead tomorrow at least Christmas is sorted.
I am nowhere near ready.....I keep thinking it is ages off. Looked at the paper today and noted it is the 1st of Dec.....so I am going to have to get my act together. I normally buy presents throughout the year but with being in Oz for 6months this year I haven't done any of that. I have bought a little fibre optic tree... and I have planned what we are going to eat...I bought some cards in the Sales last year but I haven't a clue where I put them......found some wrapping paper but that's it.

Well.... I said he had to be better by today...... but he is not better at all......Maybe I should visit the Vets and get him some of the super health Hormones......it worked for Chewy! In fact he is SO not better that he has been to visit the quack and got himself some antibiotics.
The invalid is lying down on the sofa as I write this..... muffled up like it is an arctic winter.
I had the same bug two weeks ago and he left me to my own devices.....certainly didn't get to lie down and get waited on.
Ah well... so it goes! I have made a huge pot of chicken soup so he can have some of that for lunch......I read somwhere that chicken soup is good for you if you are not well.

now i have put the last few miserable days of my life behind me. i will continue as if it never happened. So i will make sure i buy my lottery tickets tonight and saturday.
