SO CROSS................puke!

Well went out on Friday night, had a meal at Franco’s as planned, then a couple of us went round Ossy for a beer or several!!! We had a real giggle just what I needed! OMG Copacabana in the Golden Cross is not a good idea..........what was I doing? I DON'T do Karaoke! Oh well what’s done is done! Anyhow I had a great night!
But...........yea but, no but, yea but!! I woke at 4.30am with excruciating stomach pain, banging headache and dizziness, I was shaking, I ached all over........................Oh no!! My food, it had onions in.........fine you may say, adds to the flavour,.......but I am allergic to onions. I specifically asked for a dish without onions and told the waiter why; he promised me he would convey my request to the chef. What I had was not even on the menu, they made it up for me! So after 3 hours of up-chucking and feeling totally crap, I passed out on my bed with the sick bowl in hand! I came to with Neil and Sam making sure I was ok! Then I slept and later I felt a bit better. But spent Saturday feeling a tad weak from the onions.
What really miffs me off is when you say you are allergic to something and someone doesn’t take you seriously, people laugh when I say I have a food allergy to onions??? My dad used to give me food (like stew) when I was living at home, and he'd swear he'd not put onions in it, but I would be really ill about 4 hours after. He would say that I'd be ok if I didn't see the onions? so he must have thought it was all in my head, this allergy thing!
So am back to normal now well that’s my opinion!!! But will not be going to Franco’s again!
And the decorating.............can I swear in my blog?? I'd better not! You'd be disgusted.

Re: SO CROSS................puke!What a shame that your night out had to be wrecked by something like that.
I would ring up tomorrow and complain....tell them that your family sunday was ruined because of their stupidity......and just remind them that SOME allergies have fatal consequences......Scare the bejaysus out of them. |

My mum is allergic to eggs, and all her throat swells up if she comes into contact with one. I'd would have been spitting feathers.........grrrrr |

Re-reading this blog, isn't it ironic(and tragic) that this family lost a beautiful daughter to an allergic reaction.
Maybe now they will take allergies much more seriously. |
