Nothing interesting, just a quick thought I had that I don't want to forget and I can't find any paper.
Do principles or absolute morals have any place or meaning at all? How can one set a principle or absolute moral when there is so much unknown with regards to our own existence? We may not be totall clueless about our past, but the past shows us that we are most certainly clueless about our future. We cannot possibly predict what state our race will be in in one hundred years time. Can we really set absolute morals when we aren't aware of all the constants? Surely, everything must be somewhat relative. Obviously there will be general guidelines that seem to be the right choice in most situations, but they cannot be used as absolute...
