Recovery week!

As in the last entry it was my great nieces birthday party on the saturday. We all had a good time! I got left on my own at the bar of the club where the party was held - my sisters had had enough - they cant stick the pace! I got home at around 1am after numerous pints and 2 double baileys! At least they didnt have tia maria in otherwise i doubt i would have been able to get down the steps of the club never mind trying to get in the taxi! Sunday was spent in bed recovering - when i woke up my head was pounding and was wishing i hadnt drank so much! Got my painkillers and filled a bottle of water and went back to bed and slept the hangover off. Tinks says i sent her a pm cos i came on here and shes laughing her head off at the pm i sent!

Thursday night is now pool night. We have joined the Hyndburn Pool League and we were up at Peel Park Hotel. It's the first time i'd been up there. We won 5-4. I got beat though playing singles mind you i did manage to surround the black and snooker him a couple of times! We had a laugh though. Got good food tho - cumberland sausage round and make your own sausage butties. There was a quiz night going on as well and i said we should enter a team between us we could swap members as they played pool because there 9 of us there. We didnt tho but we were still answering the questions in the pool room. When we got back to the pub i had a look at the list to see if we were going to be playing entwisi's lot again but we're not. But we go all over hyndburn - clayton-le-moors, up ossie and in accy. Dont know half of the pubs in our league so it going to be an experience this summer going all over the place.
