Tis 1st of March ...

and i havent seen any daffodils out .. plenty of crocus's but no daffodils unless they were the ones i bought!!!

Have also changed my mind about going to bed on the 1st jan and getting out of bed again on 1st of Feb ....changing it to 13th of Feb ... then going back on the 15th and getting up again on the 28th Feb!!!

A rubbish start to the year ... That cold turned into a flu/gastroenteritis .. was given stuff from the doc to stop me being sick .. cos of the tablets for the epilepsy ... lasted a couple of days of them .. didnt exactly work ... but anyway was just getting over that .. and had another one id just got back from accy .. good timing .. at least i had no bruising as such .. just a loose front tooth which is trouble when i want to bite into something!!!

Sent up to the spugster a valentines care package ... visited stockleys at ossie mills wi my sis and bro in law .. all the sweeties he cant get up there - i sent up for him ... What did he do he sent me a card .. which i opened on the saturday - and then shouted at me cos i didnt open the little card that was inside - i was leaving it till monday!!! Anyway opened it on sat nite - and there was a £20 voucher for M&S inside and on Monday i went and got a dozen red roses, 2 bunches of daffodils and he bought my tea!!! So i did get my red roses even tho i had to go and get them myself ... and theyre still going strong now ... though they are changing colour .. getting darker ...

My uncle died as well he'd just been diagnosed with prostate cancer .. 3 weeks before .. in a way im glad it wasnt like my dads .. it was 25 years ago my dad died on 12th Feb .. and ive talked about that before... he was my last uncle .. i have only one aunt left .. and it was her husband. My sister and brother went to the funeral .. they live in northern ireland and because i had been ill i didnt go as it was going to be a long day - flying out of liverpool at 7am and getting home about 11pm dont want to have another one .. and i was still trying to get rid of the cold - a cough that wont go away and im still sneezing from time to time now. My other sis had got an emergency appt at the hospital so had to go to that so she didnt go .. in a way it was a good job neither of us went - my sis and bro missed their flight home even tho they were in the airport and had checked in - so they spent the night in belfast .. and flew home the following day!!!

Now its the first of march .. st davids day ... have 3 birthdays over the next 3 days .. one each - spugs daughter tomorrow, my brother in law on thursday and my nephew on friday ... tis expensive!!!

Also my not so little nephew who went to bangor is home again ... he wants broth before he goes back, he's also in the bad books .. has managed to lose his laptop on the train coming home from bangor!!! No help from the lost property either ... My brother in law aint well either - their dog escaped .. up onto the sports field near their house he went and caught him bringing him back went flying in the mud coming back down the hill and has now fractured his back!!!

So all in all i think going to bed on the 1st jan ... and getting up on the 13th Feb - well it is valentines day - going back to bed on the 15th Feb and getting back up on 1st March is a good idea!!!

Though in the spugsters case it might be better getting up on 2nd March - he had to break into his own house tonight cos the council had broken in to service his boiler cos he was at work .. and changed his locks and left the keys at a council office which they told him about it in a letter they stuck through his door!!!
